Flagler begins research for gopher tortoise relocation

Flagler County started a pilot project for gopher tortoise relocation earlier this year, offering Waterfront Development Services Inc. the option of paying the county to move the animals to the Princess Place Preserve rather than purchasing an incidental take permit - Nov. 4, Daytona Beach News-Journal
