Wildlife service oftentimes does oversight in the dark

Instances like these, which have cropped up twice in the past seven months, have environmental groups convinced that staffing shortages, political pressure and reliance on developers to tell the truth are hampering the wildlife service’s ability to uphold federal laws meant to keep endangered species from extinction - July 6, Naples Daily News
