Clay family willing to cede development rights to preserve beauty of ranch

A 3,000-acre ranch in western Putnam County may be protected from development by a conservation easement in the Florida Forever program; Tommy Clay Jr. said the ranch has been owned by his family for more than 160 years, and they are very much willing to give up development rights because the family didn't want to see it developed - Aug. 23, Palatka Daily News
