Man charged with possession of deer his family was trying to help

A man was issued a notice to appear citation Tuesday morning and was charged with possession of a deer without a game farm license and failure to maintain acquisition records; a state wildlife spokesperson said, "People think they’re rescuing the deer, but it’s the worst thing you can do" - Aug. 4, Palatka Daily News
