Car kills Florida panther in eastern Lee County

A vehicle struck and killed a panther in eastern Lee County as the panther was crossing a street; "the more we develop their habitat, the more likely it is to have something like this happen to the animal," said a wildlife agency spokesman - Aug. 24, Naples Daily News
