Volusia Co. may tap into water from manatee hangout

Western Volusia County may be soon able to tap into more of the water that feeds the critical manatee refuge at Blue Spring, but there's a $120 million string attached: water managers will require utilities to build a plant to convert water from the St. Johns River into drinking water by 2018 to manage the controversial proposal - Aug. 5, Orlando Sentinel
