Environmentalists delay Wal-Mart construction

A group of local activists won a battle against Wal-Mart this week, temporarily stalling construction of a new supercenter in an environmentally sensitive area; the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers decided it would revoke the permit to fill wetlands on the banks of the Anclote River after being pressured by Friends of the Anclote River and a Pasco County activist - Aug. 10, Tampa Tribune
